felt like snow white this morning, waking up to the sound of birds chirping.. sunrays emanating from outside.. and a slight morning breeze whisked in.. (all literally ok..)
what a blissful morning! must have got to do with my ethereal night last nite.. twas like a dream…
yup, FELDA SG. KLAH HOT SPRINGS was like a wonderland to me last nite..
even though when we arrived it was pouring, we were still excited. to have the park all by ourselves.. (almost). we started with the egg-boiling pool.. was told by our personal guide people always pay them to boil thousand eggs here for weddings. n we laughed.. hw ridiculous! all that trouble… boil je la at home..? but when we cracked the egg open.. (twas 3/4 cooked after only 3mins in the water) we had stopped laughing by then.. patutla! the taste was different.. i kid u not! nor im exaggerating. twas sweet n salty.. just nice, no kicap needed..
then our very first pool.. twas hot! couldnt bring myself to soak myself all d way thru.. all i cud think of was i might not going to enjoy this after all.. this is painful.
then we were brought to an even bigger pool.. n the sight was breathtaking! the pool was huge, under an open sky, with trees surrounding, n the lights around d pool lighted the clear water, we cud see the pool exuding steam. god, twas like a fairyland! and im at this sumsort magical pool of eternity! n there were only us.. n this time temperature was just nice.. so my husband swam n swam and the rest pretended to swim (haha wading the water around d pool actually). 45minutes later our guide popped d question.. “ready for more?” .. OH YES!
so, now we were brought to another part of the residence..closer to the hotels n resort.. and as we ambled along the beautiful bali-styled path we were lead to a secluded area.. walls around, no spotlight here, a smaller pool compared to d previous.. n there were gazebos around it.. d white curtains were as if waving at us when the night breeze touched them. it was as if we were at someone’s private pool behind one’s mansion. and so we dived in! it was magic.. with dim lights from the gazeboes, we finally cud enjoy the dark sky which was lit by millions of stars by then (d rain had stopped). the cold strong breeze was still there swaying the trees n leaves but it didnt affect us as we were soaked in the warm water.. so we stayed in the pool for hours.. talking, laughing, looking at an owl which decided to perch on a tree n watch us 4 a while. now if only we have a butler to serve us drinks and shrimp cocktails.. haha!
**thnx to hubby’s connection in d felda residence that we got to experience all this like a hollywood star’S getaway. hu sed u need to be rich to be lavish? u just need to know d right people!
